Meera was born in India in an unorthodox Brahmin family. Her father made their home open for all spiritual masters and seekers, and that is how her own spiritual journey began at a early age. She has grown up in the spiritual Osho ashram in Pune, where she has been studying eastern & western philosophy. She is trained in a wide range of Yoga, Meditation and Therapeutic Techniques, such as Yoga Nidra, Kundalini, Chakra E-RYT200Healing, Vigyan Bhairav Tantra Meditation, Dream Dialogue , Past -life Regression, Color-Light Therapy, Tantra Yoga.
Meera is a certified Yoga Alliance Teacher (E-RYT) and combines Hatha, Astanga, Sivananda and Vinyasa Flow with her meditation and healing approach. After exploring life in many dimensions for many years through various trainings and meditation techniques, she realizes that everything that happens around us is to support our growth and to enhance our consciousness.
Meera is interested in combining Yoga Therapy with Meditation. She has helped many practitioners in going deeper in their practice and awareness. For many years she has worked at the OSHO Meditation Resort in Pune, India – one of the largest personal growth centre in the world. She has also worked in Germany, Switzerland, Israel, Australia and India offering Retreats, Courses and Individual sessions. Her Modern way to combine Indian old Yoga, meditation and self enquiry with modern therapeutic techniques has helped many people grow and get deeper into meditation, love and re-connection with oneself. Half the year she lives in Germany, and the other half she spends in India. Living in both India and Europe enables her to make eastern philosophy come to life for western and modern Indian minds. With her presence Meera makes you feel relaxed and at ease.
Born and raised in Warsaw, Poland. Her lifelong affair with wellness and sports started many years ago when she decided to take the master studies at the Academy of Physical Education, and started working as a fitness instructor. Being involved in fitness and having done many different creative jobs she came across yoga at some point and that opened a totally new door for her. The practice of yoga gave her peace of mind, brought harmony into her life and it keeps unfolding the heart opening path which she is following with full engagement.
She accomplished the 200 hours Yoga Teacher Training in India, at a great school with the roots in Kashmir Shaivism Philosophy. It’s also when she discovered meditative yoga nidra and took another training in India to explore this practice even deeper. The classes she leads include Restorative Yoga, Iyenger Yoga, Hatha Yoga and Vinyasa Yoga as well as regenerating Yoga Nidra. The latter became her main focus as she have learned and experienced its amazing powers to bring relaxation and peace which are so much needed in the crazy world of today. .
Shantam was born in the north of India and later came to Pune to live and meditate in Osho meditation center where he learn meditation and got deeper in his practices and got connected to Massage and bodywork as tool to help others and heal.
He is a qualified massage therapist with five years of experience in Tibetan deep tissue, myofascial release, and other various techniques. His longing to learn more has took him to yoga in 2013 doing a yoga teacher training, since than he has been practising and going deeper in yoga philosophy, learning also yogic anatomy has deepen his work.
He is passionate about sharing his experience and knowledge, trusting the golden rule of “you give without expectation and you will receive” since years he has been giving massages, teaching meditation, and his understanding about the connection of body, mind is what helps to bring awareness in life. He has been travelling world since than, teaching in Mexico, India, Europe.
Smt. Sanjyot Mayekar
Vocalist, Music Therapist
Founder of Arambol Music Academy she is professional Indian classical vocalist, Music Therapist. She Inherited her love of music from her father, learning started already when she was in womb, and after birth, at home with her father, this was followed by Master degree in vocal and classical music.
She will be teaching Mantra singing and How to open the voice and work on our fear of expression. She has been helping to Discover and re-discover and develop voice of many people with help of personalized voice training. Disha Deshpande (RYT 900 Hours Yoga Alliance) is trained in Classical Yoga from The Yoga Institute, Mumbai, her classes are multi-style - Hatha, Yin and Ashtanga Vinyasa.
Introduced to Yoga by a neighbour at age 4, she turned to meditation during her teenage to understand and work on her depression, migraine, fears and later on, the pressures of the journalism industry.
Profeesionally she has been a music journalist, and knowing and having worked with artists from a variety of media, she has specialises in customising classes to the physical, mental, emotional and spiritual needs of her students.
She believes that a yoga teacher's biggest guru is their own body and mind, on the importance of a well rounded self practice. "If you cannot listen to the needs of your own body, and provide, you cannot truly listen to real needs of your client's body and mind."
After practicing different styles of yoga, Celia experienced her first Iyengar Yoga class in Bali and right away she knew that Iyengar was her style of yoga, with the precision, the alignment and the use of props to adapt to every body types/problems. Since then, she focused her life towards yoga, learning more about the specificities of the Iyengar method with different teachers, especially in India, in Goa and in Rishikesh (with Usha Devi).
She did her teacher training (based only in the Iyengar method) in order to learn more for her own practice but realised how much she loves helping people to get more out of their practice.
Having experienced health related problems, she discovered the amazing benefits of Restorative Yoga and relaxation with Yoga Nidra. She now teaches both regular and restorative classes, emphasising the importance of listening to our own body rhythm and needs.
