Transformative Yoga Nidra Teacher Training on the Greek island of longevity & well-being
Ikaria is one of the five Blue Zones worldwide. These are defined as places where lifestyle and environment contribute significantly to the longevity of its inhabitants. This is why Ikaria has been internationally renowned not just as a paradisiacal vacation destination, but as a sanctuary for rejuvenation and holistic wellness. And right there, on this picturesque island nestled in the northeastern Aegean, we will dive into the deeper connection between mind, body and soul – in our Transformative Yoga Nidra Teacher Training.
Yoga Nidra teacher training is about learning the art of self-relaxation and balancing the body and mind. It is an ancient Tantric technique, also called yogic sleep, which was initially introduced by Swami Satyananda Saraswati. In joining our Transformative Yoga Nidra Teacher Training, you will improve your life in many ways. As a yoga teacher, you can incorporate this practice during Savasana to guide your students into deeper relaxation. If you have a yoga studio, you can even incorporate entire Yoga Nidra classes for people who want to release tension and feel well at the end of the day.
Yoga Nidra, as a meditative technique, is gaining popularity due to its demonstrably positive benefits, such as positive transformation, healing traumas, emotional balance, improved sleep, and mental relaxation. Many scientific studies have been conducted to validate and understand the Yoga Nidra technique. These positive effects have also encouraged hospitals, psychologists, and therapists to integrate Yoga Nidra into their services.
