7 days Yoga Nidra Teacher Training in India

Learning the art of self-relaxation and balancing body and mind.

Yoga Nidra is one of the greatest gifts yoga has given humanity. It’s an ancient practice rooted in yogic and tantric traditions, meant to relax the deepest layers of the body, mind, and soul. It’s a technique of Pratyahara, the fifth limb of Ashtanga Yoga, which means sense withdrawal. Yoga Nidra transforms you on subconscious and unconscious levels. The name combines ‘yoga’ meaning one-pointed awareness and ‘nidra’ meaning sleep. In Yoga Nidra, you appear asleep, but your consciousness works on a deeper level. It’s often called psychic sleep.

Scientific research shows 30 minutes of Yoga Nidra can equal two hours of regular sleep. EEGs and brain mapping reveal that Yoga Nidra produces synchronized and symmetrical alpha and delta waves. During this practice, contact with the subconscious and unconscious mind happens naturally, capable of transforming one’s nature.

You’ve heard of yogis who never sleep or sleep very little yet never tire. Their secret is Yoga Nidra. Ancient yogis and sages have used this technique for thousands of years to save time for spiritual practice and philanthropic work. Yoga Nidra is a complete meditation technique that can lead to Samadhi, enlightenment.

In this Yoga Nidra Teacher Training, you’ll learn to practice and guide others through Yoga Nidra. Upon completing the course, you’ll be ready to teach Yoga Nidra to individuals or groups.
