We at Diya Yoga teach multiple styles of Yoga asanas, Like Hatha, Vinyasa, Yin and Restorative, We also have basic classes of Children Yoga, Senior Yoga, Pregnancy yoga, as well we do teach meditation. As we human are individual and have different personality, keeping that in mind we teach many different kind of meditation, and one can choose which is fitting to their personality can dive deeper easily in meditation.Now a days everyone is thinking yoga is doing asanas, but yoga is much more than that, Asanas are just a stepping stone of the whole yoga journey.
Many get injured t the stepping stone, that’s why in this training we emphasis on the Alignment, learning the right posture, knowing your body and its limits, with awareness how to go deeper in to the poses without hurting others or self. Knowing your boundaries, helps to know what is good for your students also. Alignment also has the adjustment involved in it. As one needs to know being a teacher, how to correct the students in right postures, with help of verbal or physical adjustment. We teach that in details and let the students to practice it in the class till they understand it.
Our art of teaching classes are really to support the teacher inside you, to empower yourself confidence and trust in self. Learning practically these different techniques in an authentic setting will allow you to self practice and teach yoga asana with its ethics anywhere in the world.
This is our dedicated course for training students to familiarize themselves with different types of yoga disciplines, meditation techniques, and philosophies so that they can keep practicing and eventually design a course for their students in the future. For one entire month, you will immerse yourself in Asana Practice of Hatha, Yin, Basic ashtanga, Vinyasa, and restorative yoga techniques. We will also dive in yoga philosophy, meditation, anatomy, alignment and the art of teaching. But, despite all these teachings being incorporated in one, this course is open for any person beginner or intermediate who wishes to develop a deeper understanding of Yoga in life and self-healing.
During the yoga teacher training, our instructors give emphasis on the practice of basic Asana and help students improve their posture and alignment so they can reap maximum benefits. Calming the mind and body is necessary and a person’s breathing patterns are responsible for a healthy mind and body. You will learn pranayama that helps supply ample oxygen to each body part by relaxing the muscles of the respiratory system. As the course progresses, you will be encouraged to take up the responsibilities of an instructor so that you can get first-hand experience of teaching students. The course fees inclusive of three vegetarian meals from Monday to Friday and breakfast on Saturday are 1299 euros and 1600 euros for shared and private accommodation respectively.

At the end of the 200 hour Yoga teacher training course. Teachers do an assessment to certify the students on the basis of their performances. The students who successfully complete the 200-hour Yoga teacher in Goa, India gets the Yoga alliance approved certificate when they meet the requirement to be a confident independent Yoga teacher. We have some reflection classes for one whole month also, where each student share what they have learned. At the end, of course, they give an hour-long yoga asana class.
Yoga teacher training certification makes them eligible to teach anywhere in the world. Students after obtaining the certificates can also assist in the next yoga teacher training program at our RYS 200 registered school, Diya Yoga, as we welcome all with open arms. And with the certificate, we successfully gift another yoga trainer to the world.

Diya Yoga Shala (School) offers residential as well as non-residential teacher training courses for people visiting Goa. We have created the perfect atmosphere for introspection and self-exploration through various yoga disciplines and meditation techniques.
The Diya Yoga shala premises are a stone’s throw away from the beach where waves from the vast Arabian Sea come splashing in. Our establishment is comfortably located in the cozy arms of nature as we are surrounded by a river, a lake, the sea, and hills. The space dedicated to yoga and meditation lessons is on the rooftop of the yoga shala building and offers an enchanting view of all the natural elements mentioned above with palm trees swaying close to it.
Your day will begin by witnessing the sunrise gracefully from behind the hills as you proceed with the daily activities and then be captivated in the evening as you watch the sun set into the horizon over the sea with equal grace. As you enter the yoga shala, you will feel a sense of relaxation and calm as you resonate with yourself and nature; birds chirping, eagles flying around, seagulls racing the wing along the coast, and the sound of the waves dashing up the beach and then quickly receding into the sea
The shared room has twin beds and is given to students of the same gender on a twin sharing basis. This room has an attached bathroom that the residents can use.
The private room offers a view of the hills and also comes with an attached bathroom.
This room is bigger than the private room and faces the lakeside offering a wonderful view of the lake that is close to the yoga shala. It has an attached bathroom with a water heating facility.
Clean drinking water is available for all 24×7. We have a common area where the students can get together and hang out in the evening after classes. We provide black tea and coffee throughout the day and sipping a cuppa while sitting on the rooftop near the yoga hall is quite soothing. Wi-Fi connection is also available.
Our teachers who train you to become a teacher yourself are experienced in multiple forms of yoga and meditation as well as various other art forms and healing practices.
Meera is the founder and leads the training courses at Diya Yoga. She has been on a spiritual journey since her childhood thanks to her parents who were open to Meera learning about various types of philosophies and ideologies. She is a certified yoga instructor with Yoga Alliance (E- RYT) and has trained for years in several therapeutic, meditation, and yoga techniques like Past – life Regression, Color – light therapy, Chakra healing, Kundalini, Yoga Nidra, and Tantra Yoga. As an instructor, Meera combines her knowledge and experience in multiple yoga disciplines like Hatha, Ashtanga, Vinyasa Flow, and Sivananda with meditation so that her students can reap maximum benefits from the course.

His attraction towards martial arts pushed him to become a practitioner. Abhivan inculcates his learnings from his profound experiences in various meditation techniques to delve deeper into self inquiry as he guides his students to combine meditation and martial arts.
